Spent over an hour trying out different stitches and ideas. I think the buttonhole idea would have worked great if I hadn't already cut out the ellipses. I think I may have to resort to *gasp* stitching the edges of the ellipses by hand to finish them. Starting to feel the pressure of the pending day. When I was a kid, my mom would make us costumes, like this cool devil outfit for my oldest brother when he was maybe 4 or 5.
